The Golden Pheonix

Meow! Hello everyone! This here's a bubble cat pin going for Rm3 at BoxOfHobbies! There's only ONE available, so do grab it fast before it's gone! Anyways, today post will be a short one. I do have more to post, but it's not done yet. It'll probably be out tomorrow then. Well, here goes..
I have this small black carbon board piece lying at home. So instead of just leaving it there catching dust for months, I decided to finally use it. I love pheonix and thought that I should just try my luck if it turns out nice. I started with the wings.
Then comes the outline of the body. At this point I felt that it didn't look too good. I thought the card would turn out to be wasted. I continued on though.
More tail feathers added.
The end result! I love it! Of course, the gold is not THAT bright at first glance, but when light shines on it, it's simply gorgeous! Yay! Am glad it turns out lovely.
That's all for this post! Do stay tune for the next post which will be a tutorial! Bye!

Just The Week That Passed

Hi Beautiful People! I've missed you guys!
I still haven't really touched any crafts yet as I'm still sorting out the new craft room. Anyways, here's a little something on what has happened this past week.
Pastor Peter Ting has been posting Facebook notes about BGR. I found them really interesting and talked to him about it. I was asking if he has a book on that particular note he posted. He did not, but had a different book and decided to bless me with it. I haven't started reading it due to the busy schedule, but I shall start real soon! Thanks Pastor Peter Ting!
I've also gotten my Pyramid Privilege Card! I got the 'voucher' to get one from Emerge KL 2012. This allows me to get discounts from certain shops. Not bad.
Cotton On! It was my FIRST time spending with a debit card! A bad habit, I know. I shall do my best to discipline myself from growing the habit! That day was also the FIRST time I bought a long white pants! I've always wanted one but never get them because my brain keeps whispering to me that it'll get dirty real quick.
I have been sorting things into where they should be and labeling the boxes! My bubble wrap itself takes up one box!
And yesterday, I have been spending 2hours+ untangling strings, measuring them, cutting them and tying them into necklaces! Now one stack is done. I have another stack, but I shall only touch that when this batch runs out. See, simple things may not be so simple after all. Would you expect 2hours was spent just from doing just the necklaces?

Well, that is all for today's post! I shall post more when I can!
Toodles! ♥

Full White Outfit Of The Day !

Hey everyone! So sorry about not updating my blog. It has been more than a week and I really couldn't find anything to update yet due to the busy schedule. Today's post would be a fairly random one. Here goes.
This is my outfit for today! It's patriotic day and the girls are to wear either white or yellow while the guys wear red or blue. I decided to go all white! You can't see it, but even my earrings are white buttons!

And this is my hair yesterday! It was done up by Shaujin! ♥ That's Ling Wai in the picture.
Ling Wai recently came back from Singapore and got me this !
Mini chocolate molds! Thanks Ling Wai! She also gave me some kitty cat stickers which I didn't have a photo of! I shall post that later on.

Well, I really do not have much to say today. Here's a little penguin to send you smiles!
Bean bag penguin at Rm60 in Mini Toons! ♥ How adorable! Feel like adopting this little fella.
Okay! That's all for the post today! Thanks for dropping by! I promise to hunt for more things to update!

Billy The Bookshelf!

Hello there! I love this picture taken by Tiny Scribbles!
That dress I'm wearing there is also my new favourite dress! Anyways, back to today's post. I'll be talking about a new 'family member'. I call them (yes them, they're twins!) "Shelfie" !
On Sunday, my parents and I went to IKEA to hunt for my new bookshelves! I just randomly thought of bookshelves for my crafts one day and googled IKEA. Right away, I fell in love with the Billy Bookshelf 80x202. Yes, I know it's named Billy in the tag, but now I renamed them "Shelfie!"
When I got home, I immediately starting planning where everything goes. It doesn't turn out exactly the same, but it's pretty similar. ♥
With my new bookshelves in the house, I have been reorganizing all my craft materials and shifting them from my room upstairs to the karaoke room (now my craft room) downstairs.
Other than the Billy Bookshelves, I also have some new craft stuff!
The first picture (left) above shows my stash of patterned paper. And on the second picture (right) is my friend's. Recently, my friend went overseas for her studies and decided to dump a bunch of heaven into my territory. Yeap! All those on the right are now mine too!
And together, they look like this. All squashed up in a house of box like sardines.
Patterned papers are just one thing. Here's some more! The top left picture shows my stash of coloured paper. Bottom left show my friend's, and on the right is both of them together, now belonging to me! Oh dear! I'm a happy girl! Who could ever run out of pretty papers in my house?

There are tons more goodies which I received in the box of 'heaven', bucouldn't post them all up here. They were quite messy and I didn't bother taking that many pictures of sorting them out.
Lots of my stuff have now moved down and my bookshelves currently look like this. It has been eating a lot don't you think? I like how it looks. So pretty. Some of the red boxes there are actually still empty. Not all, but some. My room was such a mess moving all these things around.
Tadaa! I made my parents take a picture with the plush carrot and broccoli! My dad was very reluctant knowing that I would probably put it on Facebook or something (Which I did not. I just so happen to put it in my blog and link it to Facebook. That's all). I kept saying that once in his life, he would need to do something silly or fun! I manage to get this shot and am very happy with it! Yay! The dad even said "I don't want to eat my broccoli" then when he carried it. How adorable.
And tadaa! Took this picture because I've always wanted a rocking horse but never got one before. Although this is a moose and not a horse, it would have to do. End.

Handmade Button Accessories

Hi everyone! I haven't been posting as often lately, but I believe I will be posting more during the raya break! Anyways, here's a little something new that I forgot to post about previously.
Check out my hair! It's got that green touch to it! I actually went to dye the inside part of my hair green with blue ends, but the blue didn't turn out. I will be going back to dye the blue again soon. I love how the green turned out so far. This hair was tied by my good friend - Xiang Ting. *clap clap*

I miss my crafts. I haven't got to them for about one month already. Recently, I just had to do something crafty, and decided to make more button crafts. I came up with this unique kind of earrings where the it would come from the back! I love the result of it.
Adorable eh? For now it would just be buttons due to time limitations, but soon after, I'd probably have clay charms hanging from the back too! I can't wait to work on it!
I've also been working on new button bracelets
I love these picture, especially the yellow one with dried leaves and flowers. It fills the picture more and makes it look better doesn't it? I'm still thinking of how I can take nicer pictures of my crafts. Any idea?

Well, that's all for this post. I will be making another post later at 12am!

DIY Baby Plush Carrier

Hey people! Remember Alarice from my previous blogpost?
Remember that I carried her in this adorable pastel colored baby pouch? Today, I'm going to show you how I made it.
This is my first time making an outfit for a soft toy, so I kinda did not know exactly what to do as well. I started by laying the Cupido down on a piece of felt blanket.
I then used a marker to mark where his legs were and cut holes for them.
After slitting the hole and putting Cupido's feet in, I added some velcro to keep the back in place.
I went through my random button collection and picked two off the stash.
The sewing begins. I adjust the length of the strips and made them crossback.
 The excess were cut off.
Tadaa! And it's done! The extra carrier strings that I hang on my neck were just extra fleece blanket pieces with hooks.
A couple of pictures with the baby! That's all. Bye!
