Goodbye Sirius Scholar!

Goodbye Sirius Scholar! Yesterday was our last day of school - last day of highschool for form5(s). The whole school had a party! We brought food, games, cameras and tons more stuff. For our class, we didn't bring much food as one of our teachers are buying us 4 Sarpino's pizzas!! :D They always have a promotion to buy 1 and get 1 free. That means we got our 4 pizzas for only the price of 2! I only ate one piece throughout the whole day though, was mostly playing games, taking pictures and running around. Later in the afternoon, the form4s came up to join us for a game of 'wolf'. It was pretty fun watching them play. I was the one narrating and my throat hurt even after a round! We played the game twice, with a group of 16, and another group of 19. We were making a lot of noise yet still shh-ing at other people who were not in the game. Opps! We played all the way till 4:45pm. Anyways, here are a few pictures taken throughout the day.

The girls and teacher Ivan!

The lovely bunch of people!

My sonnie and lui lui ! They were so sweet! They came up to look for me!
Exams officially ended on Monday. And on Tuesday, I started preparing some stuff for my teachers! I only finished it yesterday in school although on Thursday, I woke up at 7am just to do that too. I've been slightly late (2/3mins late, except for yesterday) for 3 days in a row doing this.

They're little booklet keychains. I was thinking of making them into book pendants for the female teachers, but didn't have enough strings and such. There's two more that I already gave to Teacher Ivan and Teacher Melissa D'Silva before I took this picture. They were in my class so I quickly finished them and gave them.

You guys know what? Sirius Scholar teachers are not just a teacher! They're more than that! Continue reading!

These 2 sets of cupcakes above are given by Teacher Yvonne and teacher Pui Khe! It's specially for the form5s who are leaving! Aren't they sweet? If you're not from Sirius Scholar, I'm sure you're hoping you are now!
How to eat a froggy cupcake?
Step 1 : Make the frog blind!
Step 2 : Turn the frog into a ninja frog!
Step 3 : Turn it upside down to make it look like a man with a funny nose!
Step 4 : Just eat it already!

Last year, we had a project called 'Physics Egg Drop'. It's where we wrap an egg in a limited number of items and drop it from 4storeys high. Only 2 eggs survived, one of them was from my group. And guess what? My physics teacher - Teacher Ivan, brought the egg back and gave it to me! Don't you think that's very sweet of him? He kept it for a year! Last year, when it survived, I drew on it and gave it to him. Who knew he'd keep it and bring it back for me? Have a look.

The egg has one side that says "I SURVIVED! I'M COOL!" and the other side with a smiley face with shades. Teacher Ivan took the insides out so that the egg would not rot or smell. He gave it back to me telling me my holiday project was to decorate the jar!

One look at it and what does it say? To me, it screams theatre!
My beloved Teacher Erica, decided to give us these awesome mask! Simple, plain yet beautiful! I love it! Which other schools have teachers giving you stuff like these? Teacher Erica bought one for each of us that stayed on with her since Form4!
...and we had a SUPERHERO picture taken!

Thank you Teacher Yvonne and Teacher Pui Khe for the cupcakes, Teacher Ivan for the memorable egg, Teacher Erica for the awesome mask, and Teacher William for the food (Roast chicken with stuffing, Tempura prawn, Nasi lemak, Rosti) we had in art class!

My amazing superhero teachers!

Thanks everyone for everything!!! I will miss you guys!!

Appreciation Day

Hey all! I miss posting something on my SUPERMOM blog! Sorry that I haven't been updating it for 4, almost 5 days now. My IGCSE has finally ENDED! Though I still have NCC exam on Monday. Oh well, just one more to go! Anyways, today is Appreciation Day. And since I'm form5 already, it's my last appreciation day. The form5s performed 'Sunrise' by In The Heights and sang the Ace Ed Venture song. The song was practiced once a week starting from about 2months ago and the movements were only fixed on the recent Friday 5pm+. Even so, it all went really well and I'm proud of the other Form5s! They were so much fun to perform with. I'm going to miss Sirius Scholar a lot. Growing up with Ace had been so much fun! And seeing the younger ones grow up even stronger had been a beautiful experience (motherly instincts kicking in). I don't have much to talk about now, but at the end of this post, I will be writing down my thoughts to a few individuals from Sirius Scholar.
At appreciation day, art pieces were framed up and placed outside to sell.
I really loved the student's artworks. All of them turned out extremely well. I myself had two that were placed outside to be sold - none got sold though, but it's alright. It was fun watching it on display.
Here's one of my artwork that was not displayed because it was only framed the day before and could not make it there in time.
My lovely pheonix. Although a little out of shape, I really liked it. It's a little disappointing that it wasn't able to be there on time though. Below's a painting of a dolphin splashing out of the waters. I'm cutting it out to make a '3D' kind of art. Will post the end results when it's done.
That's all for the artsy stuff. Here's something lucky!

Recently, Meeples - the popular board game cafe, had a lucky draw called 'Catan Rocks'. There are 3 chances to get involved in the lucky draw.
  1. Like & comment on their photo
  2. Like the picture before 3rd Nov
  3. Be there in person on the drawing date
I only found out about it on 4th November, and couldn't be there in person on that day. So I only had one chance in the entire lucky draw. I've randomly joined these things before, but never once did I get anything. I didn't really bother to push for these things knowing that the chances are slim, but I just go ahead and participate in simple ones anyways. I've never ever thought that I would ever get anything... but this time :
Someone from Meeples pm-ed me on Facebook saying I won 1st prize in their lucky draw! I was so surprised! Few months back, I wanted to buy a new extension and now I won and got a new map! It's not the extension, but still, it's something I could play with! Awesome. I was so excited when I found out that I jumped around the house telling my sister and parents about it. They didn't gave much response/reaction to it, but it felt exciting jumping about.
My prize : A membership card [I already have one, so I'm selling it off for a cheaper price], Five 2hr Meeples voucher, and a new map!

Oh! And look at that! My mum's new iphone cover. She's always telling us she wants to stop drinking coffee because it's bad for her but her iphone cover tells us she misses it too much. Well, hopefully she could 'taste' the coffee just by looking at her phone next time!

That is all for the post today! Thanks for dropping by! I hope you enjoyed your day and this post!

Posting To Individuals.
I'm not going to write your names here, so I'll post them by numbers and let you know your numbers after. They're all going to be quite short though, as I'm not very expressive in words sometimes.

  1. Hey there! I really love how you are very active and sporting. You're brave and don't mind being silly at times. It's a huge advantage in life, so grab hold onto it and don't give up! I can tell that you're a wonderful friend. I may not hang out with you and your friends a lot, but by the looks of it, you are. From what I see, you care a lot for all those around you. There was once where you walked a girl elsewhere cause her parents or something was waiting there, and I thought it was very nice of you as it was raining as well, and you walked back yourself under the rain. It's really sweet to do such things and I'm sure people would really notice little things like this and appreciate you for who you are. You're also a wonderful dancer! I've seen you dance and you can really stand out of the crowd. You've got the energy and the heart for it. So yeah, keep it up!
  2. From my eyes before, you were a very very shy person. You hide away most of the time and look down on yourself. You don't have to though, you're a wonderful person inside, and you should let yourself shine brighter! You can do so much better wearing confidence. I've seen you today and you were amazing. I was really surprised and know that there's so much more things for you to learn and grow! You've taken a step out of your comfort zone, continue stepping out and don't be discouraged!
  3. Hey! Although I may not have known you very well, but I find you very special. Very very special. You're very humble at nature and that's something that makes me admire you. I love that you always smile to everyone around you and I find you very gentle and loving. You have a wonderful voice which gives me goosebumps every time I hear you sing. I just want to say that you're amazing as you are, and continue to grow in such a way. That is all.
  4. Hello! You've left school for a while now. Though I've never really talked to you except saying hi, I've noticed how you were in school before. You're very daring and sporting. And I like it that you'd go all out in presentations and activities. You always bring laughter with you everywhere you go and I think that's amazing. Never ever let loose of who you are, no matter how bad things may go. I somehow feel that you will grow to a very very successful person in life. I never really know you that well, but that's how I felt. Someday, you're going to make a difference in the marketplace. Keep it up!
  5. You are SUPER good at acting! Really. I know that you already know that, but I just find that I had to say it. You are SUPER good! I could really see you as your character when you did the practices in drama. You added humour into it and it turned out superb! Great job!
  6. A wonderful dancer with a great attitude! Young as you are, you're very very talented! I've seen you perform today and noticed the attitude you brought out when dancing. It really really made a difference in the dance and stand out a lot! I like it that you always go all out in dancing and does your very best! Don't really know you very well, but yeah. Continue on with what you're doing, it's awesome!
That is all! Thanks for dropping by!

College & Captain Planet

Next year. Where will I be heading to next year? Life doesn't come with an instruction booklet, it doesn't tell you what to do, or where to go. Education wise, many would go from high school --> college --> university. But for me, it would be high school --> college --> The Land Of Crafty Dreams! I don't actually need to go to college at all to end up at 'The Land Of Crafty Dreams'. But I want to. I want to at least experience college in my life - I don't want to go to college as a grandma in the future! Though, that might be pretty fun to try. In my life, I love to experience many different things. Good or bad, I still enjoy the experience. Really. See things positively and learn from all these precious experiences!

I've decided to go for CIMP in Sunway College next year. I've always heard so much about it from friends and loved how their classes are carried out. Anyways, they're all for experience sake. After CIMP, I'll be heading to different mini courses to pick up crafting skills! My dad actually said before, if I'm not going to CIMP, he'd bring me for internet marketing, so most likely I'd be doing that after CIMP too. That's all about the college stuff. Don't know what else to post for now. Maybe soon I'll post up funny facts I find about myself. Maybe.

I made these yesterday! Drew the drawing, painted it, cut and glued it on. What are they? They're the rings from Captain Planet! I don't watch them, never even heard about them till a couple of days ago.

Oh! And here's the link to Roxy's video on her 5th birthday! Just in case you want to watch..

What's Your Fortune?

Fortune cookies! What do you love about fortune cookies? Do you believe the fortune inside? For me, it's not much about what the fortune means or how delicious the cookie is. I just enjoy the fun of cracking a fortune cookie open to see the mystery inside. I do know some people like that, buying fortune cookies just to crack it open. There goes RM1. Anyways, I thought fortune cookies are a very adorable idea! And so, I decided to make them. Not the ones for eating, but ones with polymer clay!
These fortune cookies have a little pink heart on it's side. The paper you see there, could be removed, be written on and put back, or to be replaced by another piece of paper! It's possible for it to fall out, but it doesn't fall out as easy if you cut the paper the right size. These are going for sale at RM7 each, RM11 if the string for pendant is needed. Once it's varnished and ready, it'll be put up on Facebook till I have the time to head over Yii-Tou and place it there.
Close up of the unvarnished fortune cookie!
These are plain fortune cookies. I'm planning to actually dip part of them in 'chocolate' and add a tiny flower or diamond deco on the side. Will see how it works.
Mini fortune cookies to be made into earrings!

These pink flowers were made with a carnation flower mold. I just used the mold to cut out the petals and used a toothpick to prick the end for a nicer look. I was thinking to make it into a pendant, with leaves or a smaller sized flower as the earrings. Would try that when I have time. These are all I can make for now.
Hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for dropping by! Love ya!

BoxOfHobbies at Sunway Giza!

Hey people! As many of you know, I'm selling my crafts and others as BoxOfHobbies. I've actually created a Facebook page for it [which I didn't find myself updating often enough] , and also had it selling at Readz Bookstore in City Harvest Church. It was my first time doing these kind of things, and I found it very messy to deal with products, codes and prices. It's doing much better now though. The first month selling in Readz went well, I've earned about RM60 after the cost were deducted. The 2nd and 3rd month though, did not even covered the cost of it. So I withdraw my items from Readz. I also stopped updating it on Facebook for a moment and plan to make an E-bay account and an Etsy account soon - most likely next year for E-bay. As for now, BoxOfHobbies has been placed at a new place! If you'd like to shop for items from BoxOfHobbies, you can now find it at Yii-Tou located in Sunway Giza!
It's a brand new shop facing the main road. It has unique objects, clothes (ready or custom-made), beautiful fabrics, creative gifts, interesting housewares and many life inspired creations! So be sure to check it out if you ever drop by! Thank you!

These are a few of my products. The pink bird up there is made into a brooch/pin badge. On the left of the pictures are buttons made into stud earrings. The bottom has a set of pumpkin-like earrings and pendant which has been bought by my school teacher - Teacher Bernie. And on the right are a set of 4 paper clips and an adorable clip.
Everything is set up nicely on the stand, ready to be moved to Yii-Tou.
I may be printing some business cards soon! I'm very very excited for it. The picture above is the front and back of the card. I wanted to have something else for the front, but my friend said what I wanted would be too complicated and that this is simple and nice. I'm not sure whether or not I should change it. I kinda prefer the other. Anyways, I will think about that later. I really really loved the back of the card, it has a sunflower stamp and resembles a postcard! It's like a postcard-name-card! My friend said that it doesn't seem very professional and thought it would be better in another way. But I simple love this design and thought that BoxOfHobbies are about Hobbies! It need not be too professional looking where it seems a bit common and boring. I just want it to be something fun and creative like BoxOfHobbies should be! Well, that is all for the update on BoxOfHobbies.

Since yesterday, my eyes have been glued on Oddee. They have quite a number of interesting things. Funny, fascination, cool and other stuff. Here's a few things from their page.

These heels are awesome. Free tips!
That's all! If you want more, check out their webpage! Bye!

I Love Mum

Moms are amazing. Don't you think so? They carried us for 9 months in their stomach and had to be careful the whole time. They can't take certain food at that time too. Gosh. I really love jumping and running around, and eating all sorts of food. How would I survive then? Anyways, here's a little something my sister and I decided to do for mom. The idea was in our minds for a really long time, but we didn't come out and do it. Finally, it's done! My dad's car has one too - done on Father's day.

The end result! That is all.

Hey people! I think I'm becoming more girl than I ever was before. What I meant was, how I dress up and stuff. Today, this was what I wore to church.
In so many years, this is my FIRST time wearing a hairband and a waist belt. Plus, I seldom ever wear earrings, make up [eyeliner], and a dress. How it happened? I love long skirts, really really love them - they can be both skirts or dresses. So today, I tried it on as a skirt, and in the end decide to wear it as a dress! It looks a little fat, so that's where the waist belt came in. As for the hairband and make up, my sis was showing me some kpop videos. She randomly say "I feel like putting on make up for you!" and her smile grew from one end to the other. It wasn't much, just simple stuff, but still. She put on the hairband to keep my hair away, then put a bit of foundation and drew eyeliner. The hairband seems to fit, so it stayed there. And that's how this picture came about.
When I smile, I always have one eye bigger than the other. And yesterday, my sister and I finally found our similarities!

Although biological sisters, we don't look much alike. One born with hair straighter than usual, and the other curlier than usual. One born with teeth that falls off itself, and the other has to visit the dentist all the time. One was chubbier, and the other slimmer. One has big ears and the other had small ones. Even what we can do or what we preferred are different! She sings well and could hear if a tune was sang correctly, but I can't - I'd sing out of tune sometimes, especially when the verse changes. I can draw better, and she draws adorable kid-like drawings. She attack sweet foods first, while I prefer savory. Not many knew we were sisters when they first met us. Some even had to see both our IC to believe. This time, we found something similar! When we smile, one of our eyes are larger than the other. And when eyeliners are drawn, one side's could be seen very nicely, and the other would be half covered and half seen. The picture above doesn't show much, but it's true! Oh well, that is all for today. Hope you enjoyed the post!
