FIMAGE - less

I say a lot of things all the time, but what really happens after saying them? I do not know. I wish I could do what I say all the time, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Right before this post, I was with my sister, watching some videos on Youtube. And I missed those days where I always posted daily random videos of my life and presentations from Ace on Youtube. During those days, people around me knows that they have a risk being found silly on Youtube. Ahhh.. the fun fun times! I want to take silly videos and upload them again, only problem now is that my laptop's always laggy when I tried editing [basically just sticking the videos together + other super basic stuff], it'll make me wait for a very very very long time. *sulks*. Oh well, hopefully I'll convince myself to just take everything in one shot and upload the raw vid. Will see how it goes.
I've always told myself to be FIMAGE-less [Fear of image-less]. Most of you from Ace should have already heard this. Anyways, as much as I want to be, there's always a tinsy bit of myself that has FIMAGE. So above here, I'm uploading a random fresh shot of myself with my ugly tied up hair still a bit wet from showering. You might say it isn't very ugly, but to me it is a little - please be patient for me to unleash my craziness in the future. Mmm.. wait, honestly speaking, I think I have less fimage being crazy hippety-hoppy around in videos than I do in pictures. Wanna see what I mean? Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSHvtgjge9U . Sorry sister!!! Unfortunately, you're in the video too.*Video taken in 2009 -I was in form 3*

As you can see from the video, I am a horrible dancer. Oh well, I've learn to laugh at myself together with people - "They're not laughing at me, they're laughing WITH me!"

Sorry for so much talking! Here's something to the artsy watsy side. I always enjoyed drawing on plain surfaces, so I bought some hard cover books, wrap them in plain white paper and drew over them. I'm planning to get them wrapped properly and sell them for RM10 each. Is that too expensive? I'm bad with prices.

I've always loved colours. [My fav colour is blue!]

That's all for the artsy side for now. Let me share a little secret of mine with you before I change my mind! I think the idea's pretty cool. I'm a big dreamer [a lot of you know that] - I think about my wedding, my home decorations, my future kids, life and tons of other stuff. And guess what? I'm actually already preparing for my wedding. Yeap. For my wedding. How? Well, I've decided that since life is precious and time could not be turned back, I'm going to take a video every year congratulation myself on my wedding with whoever it is and perhaps tell future me what I am like currently. I promised myself not to delete those precious although now embarrassing videos I had taken and will be taking. I've taken my first video last year with the help of a few friends [Secret for now, wanna know who? Come to my wedding in the future]. Planning to take my second video after IGCSEs. Yay! That is all!

I love long skirts. This is my first time wearing the one below!

Unfortunately, I'm bad at posing too.

Bye!

Shrinking Things

Okay, fine. It isn't kids that I shrunk today. Let me show you a little thing I'd like to call MAGIC.
The magic only works with a certain kind of material. You'd have to look for a plastic with the number '6' inside the recycle symbol. I've been looking for a long time for it [it's usually no.5] and I've finally got one! And so, my journey to try the magic begins.
I've prepared my silver sharpie pen, and cut a piece of it.
Then I decided to get more colours.

This is where the magic starts to happen. I placed the special plastic into an oven to heat it up. You can do it using a heat gun as well, then you'd have a better control at it.
Sorry if the picture's too small. Anyways, the plastic starts to curl all about like it's dancing! [Magic] Then, you'll notice that it gets tinier and tinier. Eventually, it'll flatten out. Look out for it though, if it curls and touches the other end, be sure to have a chopstick or a pencil to separate them.
It has shrunk! Check out the picture before and the picture now again. It shrunk till about 40-50% of it's actual size! Interesting eh? Well, if you want to play with this, and couldn't find the material above from any food packages or so, you could actually just go to a craft shop and request for 'shrink paper'. It doesn't have the same texture, but it's nice, smooth and flat like a regular white/transparent paper. Go crazy and have fun!

I ended my day with a nice cup of milo with mini marshmallows! Yum-yum-licious!
Bye!

Paper Art

I haven't been uploading a lot now, have I? Instead of sharing my everyday stories, I thought of sharing with you some amazing paper artworks today. The artist's name is Peter Callesen. These are all truly done by him, and not edited. How cool is that?!
 Skeleton man off a paper.

 A little girl's dream castle.

This seems simpler than the previous few pictures, but it's super cool! Don't you think so?

I'd really love to share more today, but am not sure what I have to share for now seems I'm having exams soon and is slow on crafts. Definitely would get on it once I'm done with exams! Hope you guys love this post too anyways!

Tricked By The Family

Hey people! Before I start, let me introduce Roxy! She's my sweet little Pomeranian who is a little TOO smart. She knows tons of tricks, but that's not what I meant by too smart. What I meant was that sometimes she used those smart thinking of hers to do not-so-good things. Like.. run out of the house. She doesn't just run out when the door is open wide. She'd sit still and estimate the size of the door when you ask her to stay, when she realize that the space is just right, she dashes out!
That's the little girl up there. I love the picture, it looks as if she's studying. Anyways, she's one little attention seeker. My sister has another dog - MooMoo, Shih Tzu. And whenever both of them are out, and either my sister or I wants to pet MooMoo, Roxy would push her head to our hands first. When we move our hand towards MooMoo she quickly goes there too. And according to my sister [I didn't witness this], when my sister does get to pet MooMoo, Roxy would run knowing that MooMoo would follow. Then she'd have this eye contact thing with my sister and then MooMoo. Mmm.. sounds like some evil genius puppy eh? Oh well.

On Saturday night, I went to my mom's cousin's wedding. We weren't close to them at all and my siblings and I have never seen them. Further more, I was sick, so all I wanted then was to quickly have the dinner over with and go home. At that place though, I saw these two beautiful painting on canvas! [Above 2] I love them a lot and hope I could somehow do something like that next time. Although the shape of both of them seems very a like, the feeling they give had a contrast. I don't know bout you, but I find that the blue one gives a magical calm feeling, and the red one gives a fiery warm feeling.

Here's one more artwork from one of my schoolmates. I don't know who was the one who made it, but I loved the picture a lot! I think it's really really great!
A beautiful Koi fish. I love how they cut similarly coloured pieces and blend them together. Especially the water. Fantastic!

The picture above was taken during English class yesterday. No, it is not that we didn't do our homework or didn't pay school fees. We're the first language students! We had to do our work elsewhere as the second language students were using the classroom for listening. It was noisy and so we journey on to find a new land to conquer and start work. The spaces outside of the classes were taken, and activity hall was taken by T&T and Hip Hop. So we decided to stop by the stairs and start work. And that's it.

At the last 2 periods of class, I fell sick. I had sore throat and cough since Friday, but this time the fever came by to visit me. I rest a while and headache came to visit when I woke too. Since school's almost over, I just waited till it ends. My family never goes to see the doctor. I haven't visit the doctors for about 5 years now. The last time I went, was to SJMC for an operation on my appendicitis, and that was the only time in a very long time. We believe in drinking tons of water and getting healed just like that, we only visit the doctors if it's really really serious. So yeah. Oh, and we still continue eating all sorts of stuff, but do cut down on fried stuff of course. Anyways, here's the story. Dad asks me to rest at 6pm but I said I couldn't afford sleeping as there's just too much work to do, but he say he'll wake me up at 7pm. So I slept. At 7pm+, my dad, brother and maid came bumbling into the room bugging me and saying that it's FRIDAY 9AM. They rushed me to my room to get ready with someone already holding my school bag. I was so confused and couldn't really catch what they were saying. When they finally said that they were kidding, the bad side of me came up - Miss Grumpy. Whoops! Well, it only lasted a while, I don't get mad so easily.
This was the sick Miss Grumpy's dinner last night. Ramli's.

My 'Son' And 'Daughter'

Hey people! As you could see on the top right of your screen, I call myself a 17 year old whose motherly instincts has kicked in. And that my dream is to be a SUPERMOM. Yes? Well, let me introduce my kiddos!
These two fellas beside me is my Lui Lui and my Sonnie! Su-zen and Adrian Tan! I don't have much time to pamper them yet, but wait for next year! Then you'll see! *smiles*

On the Friday that just passed, our school had an event called Theme Day. It's when the school is given a theme to dress up to. This time it's BOLLYWOOD.
My sporting Sonnie and I. He's a bollywood housewife - that explains the apron.
Sadly, my Lui Lui did not come for this so I couldn't take a picture with her. Owh well.
This is Zhi Wei! My crazy hyper friend who dares to do anything silly!
And this is Joey. I used to be her classmate is Ace Ed Venture, and now we're schoolmates in Sirius Scholar! We ALWAYS go for Ace Camps together! Fun!
 The bollywood girls group picture!

That's all for now! I shall study and finish up my homework! Bye!

It's Vroom Vroom Day

We waited till our numbers are called. I took the slope, parking and 3 point turn test first. And I passed right away! Thank God for that, really. I was so afraid that my wheel would not get on the yellow line, but it did! Praise God! Even though the clutch felt different [You have to lift your leg higher], I still passed! I'm pretty sure God was sitting next to me!

[Picture Removed]
My paper had everything ticked at 'Lulus' which means 'Pass'
After this, I sat down and waited for them to call my name for the road driving test.
Sorry, the picture couldn't be rotated. Not sure why. Anyways, here shows that I failed. It was the road driving test, and honestly, I really think I did real bad. The car was a different car. Even when my feet stayed still on the clutch, the car moved - which makes me think that I wasn't in the right gear, but actually I was! The gears were harder to move and they felt different. Because of this I wasn't sure of what I'm doing, so I pretty much failed because of them. If it was my instructor's car, I'm sure I'll do alright. Oh well, at least I passed the hard one - slope. All I have to do now is retake the road driving test. My officer's a very quiet guy. I said good morning and so on, but he never talked at all. Later on, my instructor told me he's very strict. At least, that made me feel much better. Well, next Tuesday's another Vroom Vroom Day. Thanks for everyone's prayers and support! I love you!

Maybe I failed the road driving cause the officer sat next to me and God couldn't sit beside me. Hmmm.
